WSSC Water’s temporary assistance program, Get Current 2.0, will run from March 1 to June 30, offering bill credits and waivers on late fees for eligible customers with past-due water and sewer bills. Residential and commercial customers meeting specific income and payment criteria may receive up to a 50 percent bill credit and full waivers of late fees and turn-on charges.

Event

Join Kaiser Permanente for Healthy at the Harbor, a free community health and wellness event taking place Saturday, June 6, from 11 am to 4 pm at National Harbor in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Bring your family and friends for free full day of fun, fitness, and preventive care along the waterfront.

Law

Attorney General Anthony G. Brown and a coalition of 22 other attorneys general have filed a second motion for enforcement in their lawsuit against the Trump administration, alleging the continued withholding of FEMA funds despite court orders to release them. The motion, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island, seeks a court order to ensure the release of federal emergency funds for wildfire prevention, flood mitigation, cybersecurity, and disaster response programs.
