New owner Erika Myers signed the lease this past Monday and tells us that she hopes to be open by the end of April. The restaurant will first undergo a remodel and deep cleaning.
Federal Realty has announced that Jenni Kayne, Allbirds, and Faherty, will open at Bethesda Row in Bethesda, Md., in 2022.

With the approval of the family, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the name of the second deputy found deceased in St. Augustine, FL, on Saturday, January 30th. Deputy Abigail Bieber, a Montgomery County native who patrolled the northwest portion of Hillsborough County, Florida, was fatally shot on January 29, 2022. The death of Bieber was the result of a suspected murder-suicide, according to authorities. They said Detective Daniel Leyden, a member of the HCSO criminal investigations division, allegedly killed Bieber and then took his own life.

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigation Division (SVID) are asking the public’s assistance in locating a missing teenager from Silver Spring.

Trevon Brox, the 26-year-old from DC that was charged with shooting at a Maryland-National Capital Park Police Officer yesterday in Olney will be held without bond.
Brox waived his right to a bond hearing earlier this afternoon, according to the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office.
