Last month we let you know that Sprouts, the first business that was announced as part of the renovated Burtonsville Crossing shopping center, set a tentative opening date. That date has now been confirmed.
Earlier this year we let you know that Planet Fitness announced it will be opening new locations at 6881 New Hampshire Ave. in Takoma Park and 2201 Randolph Rd. in Wheaton (Glenmont). The Takoma Park location has since opened, but the Glenmont location has had to slightly delay its opening from the originally scheduled day of December 20th.

The Career Readiness Education Academy (CREA) is an academic and career readiness education program for English learners in MCPS who are at least 18 years old and unlikely to meet all graduation requirements prior to turning 21 and if they are interested in pursuing an alternative pathway to a high school diploma via GED preparation.
