At-Home COVID-19 Tests Coming To MoCo
Residents of Takoma Park, Silver Spring, and Gaithersburg will have access to at-home COVID-19 tests beginning this week.
Ready Responders, a Louisiana-based medical company that provides at-home care, will be sending health workers into the hardest hit zip codes of MoCo to administer COVID-19 testing. This is part of a larger initiative in a partnership with the county government.
Tests will include temperature and vital sign checks, as well as saliva tests. Residents who want to schedule a test can call the helpline at 240-777-1755 for a screening. All testing will be free.
