Juveniles in Stolen Car Lead Police on Christmas Eve Pursuit

Around 11:30 Thursday evening, a Montgomery County Police officer patrolling Norbeck Road (MD-28) spotted a stolen Chevy.

The officer activated their vehicle’s emergency warning system (Lights/Siren) in an attempt to pull the vehicle over.

The stolen vehicle fled from Police, speeding through Rockville. The chase ended when the vehicle stopped at the dead end of Regal Oak Drive off of Tower Oaks Blvd.

Two suspects fled on foot from the vehicle; the driver was quickly taken into custody.

Both suspects were later determined to be juveniles; Police did not find anything illegal in the stolen vehicle, so the passenger was not pursued on foot.
