Kabuto, a Japanese restaurant located at 220 East Middle Ln in Rockville that offers hibachi, sushi, and ramen, closed at some point Tuesday and remained closed on Wednesday. The restaurant has told us it was a temporary closure due to illness, but will be reopening today (Thursday at 4pm).

Yesterday, the Montgomery County Office of the Inspector General released a new report on Wednesday, January 24, regarding Montgomery County Public Schools’ (MCPS) handling of employee misconduct related complaints and investigations. On the same day it was reported by MoCo 360 that Dr. Joel Beidleman, who has been at the center of the investigations, is no longer employed by MCPS.
