MCPD

At a press conference in Wheaton, Montgomery County and state leaders announced that two new speed enforcement laws will take effect October 1, introducing higher fines for drivers traveling 16 miles per hour or more above the speed limit and allowing automated cameras on high-crash roadways.

MCFRS

According to a report from WUSA9, two firefighters are now facing charges after police say they used a fire hose to dump gallons of water onto a baseball field during a game, flooding it and forcing its cancellation. The report states they are being charged with malicious destruction of property valued $1000 and disorderly conduct. (more…)
