Beginning on or about September 22, 2025, Sligo Creek Parkway, south of Wayne Avenue, will be closed for approximately two months as Purple Line crews begin track installation at the intersection. Pedestrian access will remain open through the closure.

Governor Wes Moore announced that more than 120 victim service programs across Maryland will receive $60 million in federal and state Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) funding for FY 2026, supporting initiatives that provide crisis intervention, counseling, housing, and other services to crime victims statewide.
