The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) has shared that more than 345,000 vehicles will cross the Bay Bridge between today and Labor Day.

A suspect has been apprehended in connection with a stabbing incident at the intersection of Fenton Street and Ellsworth Drive in Silver Spring on Thursday afternoon. On Thursday night, officers from the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) were involved in an incident that unfolded on Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring. At approximately 8:16 pm, officers from the 3rd District attempted to initiate a traffic stop after identifying a stolen license plate on a vehicle suspected to be stolen. The location of the attempted stop was 9520 Georgia Ave.
