For over 200 years, the Farmers’ Almanac has been predicting long-range weather forecasts using what they refer to as “a tried-and-true formula that adapts to the mysteries of nature and the ever-changing world in which we live.” So far this fall, we’ve shared summaries of the Old Farmer’s Almanac outlook and FOX 5’s winter outlook. There are actually two competing almanacs: the Farmers’ Almanac and the Old Farmer’s Almanac and both have been published for more than 200 years. Niche has released its “2025 Best Public Elementary Schools” rankings based on “rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, grade school ratings, and the overall quality of the school district.” The top 25 public elementary schools in the state of Maryland, according to their list, can be seen below:
