Pride in the Plaza will take place the week of June 20th in Downtown Silver Spring and beyond. Per the event listing, it is a “week-long celebration of Montgomery County’s beautiful, diverse LGBTQ+ communities.” All events are free of charge unless a suggested donation is indicated. Pride on the Field Friday, June 24, 2022 | 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM at the White Oak Recreation Center
Montgomery County Recreation Department and Unmatched Athlete will partner for a day of outdoor games and sports in White Oak. No matter your athletic ability, there will be something fun for everybody! Following Pride on the Field, come hang out at White Oak Rec Center’s new LGBTQ+ Safe Zone from 7:00pm-10:00pm.
Pride in the Plaza Festival Sunday, June 26th, 12:00pm – 8:00pm | Veterans Plaza
Come out and show your pride in Veterans Plaza for a fun, all-day festival celebrating LGBTQ+ community, health, well-being, and joy! The festival is free for everyone. Check out local LGBTQ+ artists, businesses and supportive nonprofits, get free HIV testing, and don’t miss our headline events!
