Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood Bar is Coming to MoCo (Two Locations)

Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood Bar is coming to MoCo with two new locations in 2020 (Gaithersburg and Wheaton).

They’ll open in the Montgomery Village Crossing shopping center (near H Mary in Gaithersburg) at 9643 Lost Knife Rd.– the old Home Design Furniture location.

They will also open in Wheaton Mall at 11160 Veirs Mill Rd in Wheaton, but the exact location in the mall has not been shared with us yet.

Per the Hook & Reel website:

The first Hook & Reel Restaurant was opened in Lanham, Maryland in 2013, by founder Miller. Miller fancies himself as a gastronome and “foodie” extensively, exploring the food culture of many regions of this and other countries.

One of his food explorations in 2008, centered around the vibrantly, flavorful and spicy cuisine of Louisiana. He so enjoyed the Southern flavor profile, and spin on French Seafood, that he found himself often cooking many of the specialties he first had in New Orleans, for his friends and family.

The menu consists of clams, crawfish, black/New Zealand mussels, shrimp, snow crab legs, Dungeness crab, lobster, King crab legs, blue crabs, scallops, calamari, and more.

We don’t have an expected opening date for either restaurant at the moment.
