Unaccounted For Resident of Rock Creek Woods Apartments Has Been Located Safe and Unharmed

A 1:46pm update by Montgomery County Police states that “the unaccounted for resident of Rock Creek Woods apartments has been located and is safe and unharmed.”

Per yesterday’s press release:

  • At approximately 3:50 a.m., the Montgomery County Emergency Communications Center received multiple calls for flooding in terrace level apartments of the Rock Creek Woods apartment complex in the 13200 block of Twinbrook Parkway in Rockville.
  • Approximately 150 residents have been displaced by the flood waters and have been transported to a reception center at the Mid-County Recreation Center on Queens Guard Road.  The Red Cross and Montgomery County Health and Human Services is assisting the displaced residents.
  • A 19-year-old male was found deceased and *one resident is still unaccounted for at this time
  • Three people were transported to area hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries. One firefighter was also transported with minor injuries.
