Shibuya Eatery, the popular Japanese concept from chef Darren Lee Norris, has moved into Montgomery County with a new Chevy Chase location. The restaurant, described as “Shibuya 2.0,” according to Axios, opened Tuesday at 4461 Willard Avenue.

ABC’s 20/20 recently revisited a Montgomery County case that haunted the Chevy Chase community for more than two decades– the 2001 murder of 49-year-old Leslie Preer. The episode, titled “First Comes Love, Then Comes Murder,” walked through how advances in DNA technology helped bring long-awaited closure to Preer’s family. The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) shared the following information regarding police presence at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School at 2:29pm on Thursday: “There is currently a police presence at Bethesda Chevy Chase High School for what appears to be a swatting call at the school. MCPS has not placed the school on lockdown.”
