Bethesda’s biggest food festival is back this fall. The 33rd annual Taste of Bethesda takes place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Woodmont Triangle, bringing together some of the area’s best restaurants, live entertainment, family activities, and more.
A celebration of Romanian culture, food, music, and spirituality will return to Potomac the weekend of October 3-5, 2025, as the Romanian Food Festival takes place at the property of the “Moldovita at Washington DC” Church, located at 9111 River Rd., Potomac, MD 20854.

The Glen Echo Fire Department has announced its Fall Open House will be held on Saturday, October 4, from 11am through 2:00pm. Their Fall Open House will once again be held at their Fire Station 711 on Massachusetts Avenue.
Bethesda native Josh Pitsenberger powered Yale to a season-opening win on Saturday, rushing for 127 yards and three touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 28–10 victory over Holy Cross. Pitsenberger scored once in the first quarter, added another in the third, and sealed the game with a final touchdown early in the fourth. His effort marked the first time in more than a decade (2014) that Yale opened a season with both a 100-yard rusher and a 100-yard receiver.
Maryland’s only brick-and-mortar magic shop is on the move. Maximum Magic Shop, which opened less than a year ago in Potomac, has announced that it will relocate to Rockville, with a re-grand opening scheduled for Saturday, October 4th. The celebration will include a free deck of cards for the first 25 visitors at the new location, 12345 Parklawn Dr., Rockville, MD.
