Ocean City, MD, offers a delightful array of treats. From the ice cream at Dumser’s Dairyland and Kohr Brothers to the mouthwatering donuts at Fractured Prune, not to mention the confections at Candy Kitchen and classic boardwalk funnel cakes, there’s something to satisfy every sweet tooth. On June 4, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin joined contractors in Spotsylvania County to mark a construction milestone at the future $900 million Kalahari Resort, set to open in November 2026. Virginia’s first Buc-ee’s will open on June 30th at 838 Friedens Church Rd. in Mount Crawford, VA. It will be located at the exit 240 interchange on Interstate 81 near Harrisonburg, just over 125 miles and roughly two hours from most parts of Montgomery County. The opening date was shared by the official social media page of Rockingham County, VA.
