A Montgomery County jury has found Gregory Jones, 32, of Martinsburg, WV, guilty of two counts of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and multiple firearm charges in the 2018 shooting deaths of Ashley Dickinson and Joshua Frazier in Burtonsville.

Jose Ulises Aguilar-Martinez, 23, pleaded guilty today to six charges connected to the July 2024 carjacking that killed 54-year-old Melody Waldecker of Silver Spring. The plea was entered in Loudoun County Circuit Court, just weeks before a jury trial was set to begin on January 5.
Maryland-National Capital Park Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated assault that occurred on November 1, 2025, along the Northwest Branch Trail in Silver Spring. Detectives with the Gaithersburg Police Department have arrested a man in connection with a shooting that occurred in late October near the Rio Lakefront area.
Montgomery County police have charged a 27-year-old California man, Mauricio Martinez Garcia, with multiple counts of rape, kidnapping, and assault following an investigation into sexual assaults that occurred in Gaithersburg and Prince George’s County.
