The Taste of Rio returns to Rio Lakefront in Gaithersburg for its third year on Sunday, September 28, from 2pm-6pm, bringing an afternoon of signature bites, craft cocktails, and live music along the boardwalk.

Poolesville Day is set to return on September 20, 2025, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Whalen Commons in Poolesville. This annual one-day, free event has been a cherished tradition for over 25 years, showcasing community spirit and providing a day of fun for all ages.
Burtonsville residents and visitors are invited to mark their calendars for the 32nd annual Burtonsville Day, a beloved community tradition set to take place on Saturday, September 20th. This year’s celebration promises a full day of fun, food, and community spirit at the Marilyn J. Praisner Library & Community Rec Center. For the first time, the celebration will include a 3-on-3 basketball tournament (sign up here).
The Country Calling Festival will return to Ocean City, Maryland this fall with one of its biggest lineups yet. The three-day event, scheduled for October 3–5, 2025, will take place at the Ocean City Inlet and feature more than 25 acts across multiple stages, anchored by three of country music’s biggest names: Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Luke Combs.

The Fall Vintage and Artisanal Market takes place on Saturday, September 27, from 11am to 4 pm, while shoppers can also enjoy exclusive sales throughout the center from Friday, September 26 through Sunday, September 28.
Montgomery County’s own comic and cosplay festival, RisuCon, will return on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The convention will run from 10am to 8pm and promises a full day of activities celebrating anime, comics, cosplay, and pop culture.
