The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has begun its 2026 spring paving and infrastructure maintenance season, with crews set to repair portions of the County’s 5,400 miles of roads and 1,700 miles of sidewalks.

Officials say police will increase enforcement efforts while transportation officials promote safe ride options to help prevent crashes related to drunk driving.
