Five Montgomery County Starbucks locations are shutting their doors as part of a nationwide $1 billion restructuring plan announced Thursday. The company’s “Back to Starbucks” transformation, under CEO Brian Niccol, includes the closure of certain North American coffeehouses and layoffs as it refocuses operations.

Four Montgomery County men were arrested during a September 23 traffic stop on I-81 in Virginia after deputies recovered suspected MDMA, paraphernalia, and cash, with all four facing drug-related charges and two held without bond at the Rappahannock Shenandoah Warren Regional Jail.
