The National Weather Service (NWS) has provided he following totals for areas in the DMV taken yesterday and this morning. Pleas keep in mind the time of the measurement and note that not every area is included:
A snow squall warning has been issued for Montgomery County until 6:45 pm, impacting Interstate 270 from Frederick to Gaithersburg.

As of 11:45am, the Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 7pm Friday. The National Weather Service (NWS) snowfall maps for the projected totals have increased to 5-8 inches for much of the area. The NWS is offering the following totals for areas in the DMV taken throughout the morning. This doesn’t include every area and will continue to be updated as new official measurements come in:
The National Weather Service (NWS) has upgraded much of the area to a Winter Storm Warning, effective until 7pm Friday.
A Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect at 4am on Friday and remains in effect until 7pm Friday evening. After a slight shift the south on most weather models this morning and afternoon, the National Weather Service (NWS) has increased the forecasted totals on its latest snow maps.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for much of the area with snow expected to enter the region shortly before sunrise and continue throughout the day.
