On Saturday, we let you know that Harris Teeter, located at 11845 Old Georgetown Rd. in North Bethesda, is set to close permanently. At the time we were informed that July 20th was the likely closing date and that was confirmed by an email sent out by Harris Teeter to its customers on Monday afternoon.
McDonald’s has opened its newest restaurant at 11710 Rockville Pike in North Bethesda, located in the former Arby’s site, which closed its last Montgomery County location in May 2021.
Today, Metro announced the selection of Hines, the global real estate investment manager, as the developer for the 13.9-acre North Bethesda joint development site adjacent to the rail station.
