New and Coming Soon to Pike & Rose

Pike & Rose is a 24-acre, transit-oriented neighborhood including more than 50 tenants of retail space. The current selection of restaurants (including Summer House Santa Monica, Fogo de Chao, &pizza, sweetgreen and Julii), retailers (including REI, Sephora, L.L.Bean and Sur La Table, Uniqlo), a Porsche dealership, and entertainment offerings (iPic Theaters, Pinstripes and AMP by Strathmore) have created what many view as one of the county’s top retail environments. New Traffic Signal Set to Activate on Old Georgetown Rd.

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has announced that a new traffic signal at Woodward High School, located on Old Georgetown Rd. in North Bethesda, is set to enter mandatory 72-hour flash operation on or around Monday, March 10, 2025. Following this initial phase, the signal will transition to full-color activation on or about Thursday, March 13, 2025.

Mui, a Modern Japanese-Inspired Restaurant, Receives Permit For New Restaurant Fitout

Last May we let you know that Mui, a modern Japanese-inspired restaurant, is coming to Pike & Rose. There hasn’t been much movement since then, but the upcoming restaurant has received a $550,000 permit to begin construction on interior renovations.

Kung Fu Tea to Close on January 30th After Almost Ten Years; New Location to Open in a Few Months

Kung Fu Tea will close its location at 11802 Rockville Pike in Pike & Rose after nearly ten years. January 30th will be the last day. The location started as Tutti Frutti.

bartaco to Open First Maryland Location

bartaco has signed on to open its first Maryland location at 11886 Grand Park Ave. in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose. It will be taking over the space that was previously home to Nada, which had a nearly eight year run that came to an end last September.
