Eater DC has compiled a list of the “Most Exciting D.C. Restaurant Openings to Look Forward to This Spring”, which includes two restaurants in Maryland (both in Montgomery County).
Reservations have opened for Bouboulina, which is set to open this Friday, March 21 on the street level of 921 Meeting Street in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose neighborhood. Our very own Mr. MoCo attended a friends and family event and has put together a preview video that’s available below.

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has announced that a new traffic signal at Woodward High School, located on Old Georgetown Rd. in North Bethesda, is set to enter mandatory 72-hour flash operation on or around Monday, March 10, 2025. Following this initial phase, the signal will transition to full-color activation on or about Thursday, March 13, 2025.

Last May we let you know that Mui, a modern Japanese-inspired restaurant, is coming to Pike & Rose. There hasn’t been much movement since then, but the upcoming restaurant has received a $550,000 permit to begin construction on interior renovations.
