On Thursday night Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) 3rd District Officers (Silver Spring) were alerted by a license plate reader to a stolen vehicle entering Silver Spring from Washington DC.

Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) will host its annual “Just for the Record–A Vinyl Day” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Brigadier General Charles E. Eater DC has released its list of “Hottest New Brunches to Try Around D.C.” with most restaurants on the list being in DC proper and just one from Maryland. The Maryland restaurant is none other than San Pancho Burritos, which recently opened at 7056 Carroll Ave in Takoma Park.
It has been more than three years since we let you know that Sake Japanese Steak House is coming to the former location of Bar Louie at Wheaton Mall (11006 Veirs Mill Rd in Wheaton). The restaurant is now in its soft opening phase and taking reservations.
According to the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, “Today in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, MD, the Honorable Durke Thompson sentenced defendant, Sorie Mansaray, 20, of unknown address, to 30 years in prison suspend all but 12 years to serve and five years of supervised probation upon release.” (more…)
