Outback Steakhouse has closed its Downtown Silver Spring location just a year and a half after opening, according to Source of the Spring.

A fundraiser has been launched to support the family of the Odessa Shannon Middle School student who was seriously injured on Wednesday, October 22, during a physical education class in Silver Spring.
