Today, Attorney General Anthony G. Brown announced his “decision not to seek charges in the September fatal officer-involved shooting in Wheaton, Montgomery County, Maryland.”
Additional details have been released about the 2025 Taste of Wheaton, which will take place on Sunday, June 1 at Marian Fryer Town Plaza (2424 Reedie Drive) in Wheaton. Law Enforcement Against Drugs and Violence (L.E.A.D.), a dedicated nonprofit committed to safeguarding communities, is set to host a carnival at Westfield Wheaton from Friday, May 16 through Monday, May 26, 2025. The carnival was held at Westfield Montgomery last week.
