The Montgomery County joint Public Safety (PS) and Government Operations and Fiscal Policy (GO) Committee will meet on Wednesday, February 14th at 3pm to receive an update on police redeployments in the cities of Gaithersburg and Rockville. The Gaithersburg and Rockville police departments currently have full and primary responsibility for police calls in their respective cities.
On Tuesday, Governor Wes Moore today announced that the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development will increase the number of households served by its EmPOWER Maryland program over the next three years. A Montgomery County man has caught a Maryland state record rainbow trout in a portion of Antietam Creek that runs through Devil’s Backbone County Park in Washington County, according to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
