According to the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, “On the evening of Nov. 11, Frederick County Sheriff’s Office deputies became aware of at least two calls to the Maryland State Police of Dodge Chargers racing on Interstate 270 and 70. As the night progressed, the FCSO began to receive multiple calls of vehicles drag racing in the vicinity of Executive Way, New Design Road, and Wedgewood Boulevard (Frederick, MD).

The proposed design will provide one-way separated bike lanes on each side of Carroll Avenue from Merrimac Drive to University Boulevard and a two-way cycletrack on the east side of the street from University Boulevard to Piney Branch Road (MD 320) in the Takoma/Langley Crossroads area in Silver Spring.
