Last week, the company celebrated a significant expansion of its manufacturing operations in Clarksburg, Maryland.
Over the past year, TDSI also doubled its manufacturing floor footprint through a $4 million investment, expanding production capacity to support the company’s continued growth.
Today, TDSI employs approximately 675 people in Montgomery County, including roughly 250 manufacturing employees.
As demand for its technologies continues to grow, the company continues to expand and has added more than 225 positions locally over the past three years.

Montgomery County Police has provided a brief summary of events regarding a fatal shooting on Lost Knife Circle in Montgomery Village on Friday afternoon. The full summary can be seen below:
C.H. Flowers High School of Prince George’s County has been disqualified from the Maryland State Football Playoffs, according to a report from Fox 5’s high school football reporter, Chad Ricardo.
Updated to reflect the shooting is now being investigated as a homicide.
Last year we let you know that Sportrock Climbing Centers is coming to Rio Lakefront in Gaithersburg, taking over part of the space that was previously occupied by Sport & Health (Dave & Buster’s now occupies the other part of the space). Earlier this year we let you know that Planet Fitness announced it will be opening new locations at 6881 New Hampshire Ave. in Takoma Park and 2201 Randolph Rd. in Wheaton (Glenmont). The Glenmont location, which will be next to the existing Lidl, has announced its opening date.
