Mental Health with Meredith (MHM) is a new self-pay therapy practice serving adults in Bethesda, Maryland, and surrounding areas.

Founded by Meredith Adams, LCPC, LPC, and EMDRIA-Approved Therapist, MHM focuses on trauma-informed care and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Meredith provides individualized support for adults navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions.


Bethesda

Downtown Bethesda’s annual Outdoor Movie Series returns with three free movie nights at 4650 Willow Lane, the county parking lot behind the Farm Women’s Market. Movies begin at 8:45 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, though a limited number of chairs will be available. (more…)


Health

The Maryland Department of Health has confirmed two new cases of measles in Southern Maryland residents who recently traveled to a U.S. location experiencing an active outbreak. Health officials are working to notify anyone who may have been exposed and are urging Marylanders to review the listed exposure locations, monitor for symptoms, and ensure they are up to date on their measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccinations. MoCo Police

The Montgomery County Department of Police has issued a Purple Alert and is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Reiven Velis, a 20-year-old autistic, non-verbal man who was reported missing Wednesday evening.

MoCo Government

Montgomery County’s Economic Development Committee voted unanimously on Wednesday to recommend an amended bill imposing an 18-month moratorium on building permits for large data centers, replacing the current six-month pause issued by County Executive Marc Elrich. The recommendation now heads to the full County Council for final consideration on Tuesday, July 28. (more…)
