Chevy Chase

During the premiere of his new FOX series, Secret Service, Gordon Ramsay visited the Parthenon in Chevy Chase. The restaurant, a local fixture since 1989, is owned by Montgomery County resident Pete Gouskos. Derwood

Maryland-National Capital Park Police (Montgomery County Division) responded to Lake Frank in Derwood on Saturday for a juvenile bald eagle caught in fishing line with a hook in its mouth. The eagle was rescued, treated at the Moon Owl Raptor Center, and will be released soon.
