Kings Dominion and Soak City have announced a temporary closure this weekend due to a nearby water main break that has disrupted the local water supply. The popular amusement park and water park will remain closed on Saturday, June 21, and Sunday, June 22, as a result of the issue.

A Maryland State Trooper was hospitalized and later released after being struck by a vehicle during a crash investigation on I-495 early Saturday morning. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Teo Kim, may have been impaired, and charges are pending.

Virginia’s first Buc-ee’s will open on June 30th at 838 Friedens Church Rd. in Mount Crawford, VA. It will be located at the exit 240 interchange on Interstate 81 near Harrisonburg, VA. According to Variety, Maryland native Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, in Sony and Marvel’s upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
