The Montgomery County Council unanimously passed Bill 13-25 today, aimed at curbing unlicensed commercial house parties by strengthening enforcement tools, increasing fines, and closing legal loopholes. The International Association of Firefighters Local 1664 has announced its early endorsement of Councilmember Andrew Friedson for Montgomery County Executive, marking the first labor endorsement in the 2026 race.
