Governor Wes Moore announced that 43 Maryland businesses received a total of $5 million in grants through the Maryland Manufacturing 4.0 program to invest in Industry 4.0 technologies and modernize operations. The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) has expanded eligibility for the Police-Private Security Camera Program, allowing all county locations to participate by installing and registering security cameras to help deter and solve crimes. Residents, businesses, and nonprofits may be eligible to receive reimbursements for the purchase and installation of the cameras.
According to the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, Javier Reyes, 23, of Silver Spring was sentenced to 50 years in prison suspending all but 30 to serve and five years of supervised probation upon release. Buffalo Wild Wings introduced its first ‘Buffalo Wild Wings GO’ (BWWGO) location, a scaled-down version of the restaurant that focuses on the to-go and delivery format, in Georgia back in 2020. Now, the company has signed on for its third location in the county– in Burtonsville.
