The Bowie Baysox are the Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles and play in the Double-A Northeast. The team plays their home games at Prince George’s Stadium in Bowie. The Baysox have announced that the will be official renamed the Chesapeake Baysox during a special event at The Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Annapolis. “The updated team name represents a new chapter in Baysox baseball, expanding the brand to better reflect the broad and diverse community of fans who support the team across the region. The Baysox will continue to play at their home, Prince George’s Stadium, in Bowie, Maryland.”

This latest game was inspired by a true local museum theft and the goal is simple – to find the stolen object before the suspect flees the country!

The TSA expects to screen 18.3 million passengers during the Thanksgiving travel period, marking a 6% increase from last year and potentially the busiest on record. To assist travelers, the TSA released a list of acceptable Thanksgiving foods, noting that solid items can be carried on, while liquids or spreadable items over 3.4 ounces must be checked. (more…)
