In January, we reported that Chopt (18123 Town Center Dr) and Mezeh (18129 Town Center Dr) are both “coming soon” in Olney. Many have consistently asked about the restaurants and now construction has started at the Chopt space with Mezeh looking like it’s ready to begin soon based on the outside windows.

Back in January we let you know that Eggspectation, a restaurant that serves “elevated American cuisine with a lengthy all-day breakfast menu alongside hearty lunch and dinner fare”, is returning to Montgomery County with its upcoming Burtonsville location. Annapolis-based Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls has opened its first Montgomery County location in the space that recently the temporary home of Locally Crafted, and previously home to Joseph A. Bank, at 201A Boardwalk Place in Gaithersburg’s Rio Lakefront.

With Han Spot and Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls now open, Rio Lakefront is looking to fill a couple more spaces in order to be fully leased. We learned today that Koi Sushi will be taking the vacant space between Chipotle and Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls.
