Montgomery County continues snow-clearing operations following the region’s first major snowfall in years, with crews focusing on residential streets after addressing primary roads twice during the storm. The snow emergency will end at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, but travel remains hazardous, and residents are urged to stay off the roads, clear sidewalks, and check on neighbors during the extreme cold.
