Fire at Montgomery Mall Car Dealership

Fire at Montgomery Mall Car Dealership

By Cordell Pugh

Friday afternoon, Montgomery County career and volunteer Firefighters responded to a paint booth on fire inside one of the car dealerships on Westlake Terrace, next to the Home Depot and across from the rest of Montgomery Mall.

Firefighters found a small contained fire in the paint booth and quickly extinguished it.

Firefighters and the Battalion Fire Chief were concerned that the fire may have spread into the ductwork but they confirmed this had not occurred.

The firefighters operated on scene for about an hour Friday afternoon.

No injuries were reported and as of midday Saturday no damage estimate had been released.
