The City of Gaithersburg is in the process of completing the 9.54-acre Pleasant View Park at 10901 Darnestown Rd. with parking, community gardens, a bicycle skills course (pump track), open space, pavilions, a playground, fitness pods, and a welcome plaza. With 13% of young Americans neither working nor in school, the personal-finance website WalletHub today released its report on the States with the Most At-Risk Youth in 2024 to identify the places where more effort is needed to help young adults succeed. Maryland came in as the state with the 9th least at-risk youth in 2024.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police 6th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man from Montgomery Village.
General admission is $25 per person, which includes chili tastings. Free Admission for kids under 18, Police Officers and their Family is provided by MCPF). All proceeds benefit the Foundation’s mission to strengthen community-police relationships, support officers wellness, and enhance public safety initiatives across Montgomery County.
