Bethesda

President Joe Biden will be en route to Bethesda today (Tuesday. December 19th) for a campaign reception. President Biden will be departing the White House at approximately 3:40pm and will be participating in the reception at 5pm, according to the President’s daily schedule. This will likely cause traffic in the area, as the motorcade has caused major delays during past events. According to the schedule, President Biden will be departing Bethesda at 5:45pm, which would cause traffic for the later part of the evening rush.

 


MCDOT

Per MCDOT: “The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will adjust 23 Ride On bus route schedules starting Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024, to improve efficiency and on-time performance. Although service levels are staying relatively the same, the changes reflect a shift of resources to allow for more reliable service where there is higher demand. Per the State of Maryland: “Governor Wes Moore today announced that the Board of Public Works has unanimously approved a long-term agreement between the Maryland Stadium Authority and the Baltimore Orioles.

Mo Co Snow

Per the Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security: “Montgomery County has issued a Hypothermia Alert for extreme cold beginning 7 pm Mon, 12/18 through Tues, 12/19. Expect the wind chill to be below 32 degrees. Wear layers if outside, take extra precautions if you spend significant time outdoors.”
