Back in June, we let you know that “boozy” Taco Bell (Taco Bell Cantina) was coming to Montgomery County. Construction began earlier this year at the future home of Taco Bell Cantina at 8662 Colesville Road and now it’s taking another step closer to opening.
Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich commented in his weekly message stating that he supports “further increases to take the minimum wage over $20 per hour to help more residents earn a livable wage and remain here for the long term.” as the state of Maryland increases its minimum wage to $15 per hour starting in 2024.
On Thursday, Dec. 14, Poolesville High School English teacher Melissa Adams hosted a tea party for her AP Literature classes in the Media Center during lunch and periods five, six, and seven. The students are currently reading the 1813 novel Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. The tea party was held to immerse students into the world of Pride and Prejudice as a way for them to analyze the manners of the time period in which the book takes place.
