Today, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland announced the arrest of Evester Edd, 64, of Silver Spring, Maryland. Edd, a former senior human resources employee for the Peace Corps, is charged with wire fraud, theft of government funds, and making false statements to federal agents.

The Washington Commanders are generating significant excitement regarding their alternate jerseys, particularly for the 2025 season. Multiple reliable sources, including local sports insider Kevin Sheehan, strongly suggest the team will introduce alternate uniforms next year that evoke their classic burgundy and gold aesthetic from the pre-Commanders rebrand era, specifically resembling the post-Redskins Washington Football Team’s look. While we don’t have much information about it, an unlucky Marylander lost their boat at the intersection of Montrose Rd. and Falls Rd. in the Rockville/Potomac area on Wednesday morning. Several readers sent in photos and videos of the boat, which we are told is causing some traffic issues at the intersection. The video can be seen below:
