The National Weather Service (NWS) still has the entire area under an “elevated” snow risk for Wednesday and Thursday. The “elevated” risk is defined by the NWS as “Considerable snow and/or sleet accumulation will cause significant travel disruptions.”

Join Kaiser Permanente for Healthy at the Harbor, a free community health and wellness event taking place Saturday, June 6, from 11 am to 4 pm at National Harbor in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Throughout the day, Kaiser Permanente nurses and physicians will offer no-cost health screenings, alongside a health and wellness expo focused on preventive care education. Currently, the store is offering 30% off select merchandise, including frozen groceries, household items, and health and beauty products. Maryland Attorney General Anthony G. Brown joined 20 attorneys general in filing an amicus brief opposing President Trump’s executive order banning transgender individuals from military service, arguing it is unconstitutional, harms national security, and discriminates against qualified service members.
