In August 2024, we shared the news of Fuddruckers planning to return to Maryland and Washington DC, with new locations originally slated to open in the fall. The DC location opened in March, and eager customers now await the Maryland reopening.

Mykonos, a Rockville staple for decades, will be opening a new restaurant in Potomac’s Cabin John Village on Friday, June 13. The restaurant will take over the space that was formerly occupied by Broadway Pizza, which closed at the end of 2021. (more…)
The Comus Inn is a historic restaurant and event venue located in Dickerson, Maryland, at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain. Established in 1862, the inn has a rich history, originally serving as a stop for travelers and a general store for the local community. Now, it’s launching an ice cream counter on June 12th.

Pizza Rosa has announced it will permanently close on June 28. The pizza shop operates inside its sister business, Open Hand Pasta & Provisions, which opened in 2022 at 220 Girard St. Suite B in Gaithersburg. The Open Hand storefront will also be closing. (more…)
