Washington Convention Center for the 43rd Annual RAMMYS Awards & Gala as the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) announced the 2025 RAMMYS Award winners. Jetties, a sandwich shop with one Maryland location (4829 Fairmont Ave. Bethesda, MD), was named the “Hottest Sandwich Shop of the Year.”
AH’HAAN, an upcoming full-service Thai restaurant in Gaithersburg, has set its grand opening date for Sunday, August 17th. The restaurant, located at 237 Kentlands Blvd., is taking over the space formerly occupied by Good Fortune Cafe.
A few months back, Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports and famous for his “One Bite” pizza reviews, visited Frank’s Pizza & Pasta at 6620 Belair Rd in Baltimore earlier this year to sample their offerings. After his visit, customers began lining up down the block before the restaurant opens, eager to savor the pizza and cheesesteak that Portnoy rated so highly. Today, we tried it.
