Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Thomas Taylor and Thomas S. Wootton High School Principal Dr. Joseph Bostic wrote a letter to the Wootton High School community Monday confirming that a student was injured in a shooting on campus and is currently in stable condition. One student was shot and another student taken into custody following a shooting inside Thomas S. Wootton High School on Monday afternoon, according to a Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) update on Monday night.
Montgomery County Police responded to a reported assault involving a large group of juveniles Monday evening at the intersection of Wayne Avenue and Ramsey Avenue.
