Washington linebacker Bobby Wagner continues to show that age is just a number. The 35-year-old veteran, now in his 14th NFL season and second with the Commanders, ranks second in the league in total tackles through Week 5 with 56, just one behind Miami’s Jordyn Brooks (57).

Wagner has been a steadying force in the middle of Washington’s defense since joining the team last year, helping lead the Commanders to an NFC Championship Game appearance in his first season with the franchise. Known for his elite preparation and football IQ, Wagner has remained one of the league’s most reliable tacklers well into his mid-30s — a rare feat at such a physically demanding position.
