On Tuesday morning, Montgomery County Police 5th District (Germantown) officers responded to a domestic call. According to police, when they arrived, they discovered that one of the individuals involved was armed.
Tragedy struck this week as Andrew Kraus, 39, the son of Mission BBQ co-founder Bill Kraus, was among four U.S. Army soldiers killed in a helicopter crash during a training mission in Washington State on Wednesday.
The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) reported that a pedestrian was struck Tuesday evening near the 11100 block of Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton. The call was received at approximately 7:27pm and 4th District officers remain on the scene.
The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) charged 18-year-old Naef Salmo of Millersville in connection with a September 14 illegal car meet in Landover, where he struck and seriously injured a spectator before fleeing the scene.
