Sixty Vines, the restaurant brand known for its wine-on-tap system and vineyard-inspired dining, will officially open its first Maryland location on Monday, October 13th at 212 Ellington Boulevard in Downtown Crown, Gaithersburg (sneak peek video below). The restaurant will be located in the space previously occupied by Old Town Pour House.
Commas Food Hall, which opened last month on Level 3 of Ellsworth Place in Silver Spring, will hold a grand opening celebration on Saturday, September 27 from 11am-9pm and Sunday, September 28 from 12-6pm.. The 13,000-square-foot space features 10 food and beverage vendors offering global cuisines, with two stalls still available for future operators. Last week, the company celebrated a significant expansion of its manufacturing operations in Clarksburg, Maryland.
Over the past year, TDSI also doubled its manufacturing floor footprint through a $4 million investment, expanding production capacity to support the company’s continued growth.
Today, TDSI employs approximately 675 people in Montgomery County, including roughly 250 manufacturing employees.
As demand for its technologies continues to grow, the company continues to expand and has added more than 225 positions locally over the past three years.

The community is rallying to support the family of 29-year-old Akwalabeng “Asong” Fontava, who was shot and killed in his North Bethesda apartment on Sunday, September 21.
