Clarksburg

The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) arrested a 16-year-old suspect following an armed robbery and stabbing on August 25, 2025, near the Clarksburg Premium Outlets, where a teenage victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. (more…)

MCDOT

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has announced its Labor Day transportation schedule for Monday, Sept. 1, which includes Ride On buses operating on a Sunday schedule, free parking at public garages and meters in Bethesda, Silver Spring, and Wheaton, no MARC Train service, and limited MTA Commuter Bus operations. Education

Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) students have outperformed their peers across the state, according to an MCPS press release.
