The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at approximately 7am on June 5 at an Exxon located in the 11400 block in Rockville Pike, where a suspect displayed a handgun, stole cash and property, and fled the scene.

Montgomery Parks has announced the opening of three new playgrounds this spring at parks in Silver Spring, Wheaton, and Olney. The newly renovated playgrounds are located at Indian Spring Terrace Local Park, Olney Mill Neighborhood Park, and Valleywood Neighborhood Park.
